The American corporation Deckers, which, among other things, owns such well-known brands as HOKA and Teva, as part of the Deckers X Lab direction, introduced a new collection of military tactical shoes Deckers X Lab Tactical (DXLTAC). Designed to meet AR670-1 specifications, the DX-G8 is constructed from full-grain leather and 1000 denier perforated nylon material, as well as a quick-drying nylon mesh lining. AR stands for Army Regulation, and as you can guess, Army Regulation 670-1 is simply the latest version of the US Army code regarding appropriate uniforms. These regulations require all soldiers to wear footwear that meets a very high standard. Military personnel may have to work in very difficult terrain, which means the boots they wear need to be durable, comfortable, and highly protective. These rules were designed to ensure that Soldiers always have the appropriate footwear for every possible scenario. Whatever type of boots you purchase, they must meet these official standards. The laces are made of reinforced 550-gauge paracord (Paracord is a lightweight polymer cord made from nylon, originally used in parachute lines. The paracord shell is woven from many interwoven fibers, making it relatively smooth), and the Contoura inner insole consists of a layer of polyurethane foam and a thin layer of sweat-wicking fabric with antibacterial treatment. The sole is made using Vibram LiteBase technology. The well-known Italian brand Vibram, which since 1937 has been producing soles for shoes of various specializations and brands, is introducing new technologies in the production of soles and aims to reduce the total weight of the outsole by 25 - 30%, mainly by reducing its thickness, while at the same time strength , wear resistance and the necessary rigidity are maintained at the same level. Such results were achieved by introducing into the outsole, before the vulcanization process, already pressed and pre-vulcanized polyurethane inserts, which subsequently play the role of stiffening ribs.
